The service was very nice and courteous. The food is great there. It tastes delicious. Was the first time there and had a very good impression of this restaurant. There was very interesting antique furniture and beautifully decorated tables on the premises. My respect for how comfortable I felt there from the extremely nice atmosphere. They definitely deserve 5 stars.

This brewery restaurant is highly recommended! The food is fresh and homemade just like the in-house beer! 5 stars are definitely suitable! In the dining room is a very quaint ambience and although the time seems to have stopped with the furniture, this is exactly the feel-good factor!

Quaint restaurant, time has stopped here 100 years ago or so. For absolutely charming, the service lovable. The food is great. We will definitely be back.

Barnikel - the pub of my choice! Again and again we are drawn to Kerstin to Herrnsdorf to eat there and to drink a beer. If you are looking for a star restaurant, is wrong here but you get warmth and always new and familiar faces to see. Especially in the carp season, the Barnikel is a must for me, as it gives my not so humble opinion there the best carp. The other dishes are typically Franconian and rock solid. Tip for after dinner: the homemade sloe liqueur!

Best beer sau geiles eat bomb service

Well, the Barnickel has his reputation gone. I do not want to repeat the saying here, but it's a special shop. Posh - everything else, but honest and direct, expert but special. The beer is solid, the food reliable. Of course, Barnickel will never win a Michelin star.

Mega delicious food at really low prices. We come here often. Mom and daughter run the business, both incredibly nice and warm. Kerstin also bakes incredibly delicious cakes and pies. My favorite dishes here are currywurst and farmer's pizza, both to sit in. But everything else also tastes very good. All thumbs up !!!!

I keep coming back because I know the owner very well, greetings go out, and the food is really very, very tasty! Not everyone likes the rustic style but still fully meets my taste, perfect for beer hikes or when you are just nearby.

It all seems very rustic, but maybe that is part of the concept of the "rustic" inn. The food (1st dish: asparagus) was really of the best quality and very tasty. The second dish (duck) was typically Franconian good. We will definitely be back.

Though this is no longer an actual brewery, it's still a great stop on a nice beer walking tour called the Brauereienweg. Their beer is contract brewed in Aufsess but according to their recipe. Great food and old time atmosphere prevails.
